Storming Off

The aipom was hit by the attack. It flew backwards and into a tree, it fell to the ground, KO'd and unable to move. It was a perfect opportunity to catch it, although it could have been faking and cause the pokeball to fail. The aipom groaned as it teetered on the edge of unconsciousness.

Lily knelt down and casually poked the Aipom with her finger. She shruged and took out a Pokeball. It wouldn't really make much sence to throw the Pokeball from such close range, so she just tapped the Pokeball on the purple monkey, hoping for it to catch. Kaito just watched.

The pokeball shook once, and stopped for a bit. It shook again, but more madly this time, then stopped again. It shook so hard again that it rolled out of Lily's hand and on the grass a bit. It stopped. The ball clicked.

Lily beamed. "Yes!" she exclaimed, reaching down and picking up the Pokeball. She released the Aipom, it appearing in a flash of red light. He blinked. "I'll call you Gakupo." Lily said, picking the purple monkey up and holding it up in front of her. "Welcome to the team, Gaku!" Lily said, and then put him down. Happy, Lily continued on.

The wind blew and whistled as trainers around the area battled. Some where heated, and some where one sided. Wild pokemon roamed about and a pidgey flew from a bush in front of Lily and flew away before battle could be engaged.
