Onwards!

Belle let out a squeal and Mimi stopped growling. Her owner skipped over to the Pokeball and cheerfully placed it alongside Mimi's Pokeball. Mimi barked once, then ran over to Belle and hopped on the Pokeball and onto her shoulder, trying to use her owner's hair as a blanket. Belle chuckled. "Welcome to the team, Exeggcute." Belle looked inside the top red part of the Pokeball, and she could see Exeggcute looking back at her.

She figured today was her lucky day.

The breeze blew and the bushes were rufflet ruffled. It was a beautiful day and all that was left to do was follow a dirty old and used looking path. it seemed to twist a curve a bit unnecessarily. The path was faded a bit and you could barely see it. Although a dog pokemon could sniff out the correct way, or maybe a pokemon that knew it's way around the route.

The girl shivered as a couple of snowflakes fell on her cheeks, and Belle pulled her jacket tightly. Mimi hopped from Belle's shoulder to the inside of her jacket, and both of them began to feel warm. "Thanks for helping me, Mimi~" Belle smiled and hugged her Pokemon. "Liii!" Mimi barked happily in response.

Belle began walking along the best she could, not wanting to make her Lillipup walk in the cold.

A youngster walked along the path, ignoring the cold, towards Belle. He seemed to be singing a tune, "You wear short shorts, I wear short shorts! You wear short shorts, I wear short shorts!" he spotted Belle and shouted, "YOU! Battle me!" he didn't wait for a reply and took out a pokeball, he called, "Lillipup, my Lillipup, GO!" a lillipup was sent to the field. It barked happily and wagged it's tail.

Belle jumped as she saw a boy out of nowhere challenge her. She blinked as he threw out his Lillipup ( not throw throw away, like.. oh you get it. ) and looked down at her own. "It looks like you and I have good taste," she chuckled. Belle gently pulled her cozy Lillipup out and set her on the ground. Mimi shivered. Once you got warm and stepped back to the cold, it was more freezing then before.

She wagging her tail and took a step forward. "Lillipup! ( Hello there! )" she barked happily. She hoped the other Pokemon didn't see her as an enemy, as Mimi hadn't seen her own species in a while.

The trainer had an unsatisfied look, "Hey you have two pokemon right? How about a double battle instead?" before Belle could answer he tossed another pokeball into the arena. Is glowed bright white and a Stantler appeared, looking tall and proud. It shook its horns a bit before stamping the ground with it's hoof. The lillipup growled at Mimi and waited for the next pokemon to come out.

Belle frowned. "Well yes, but-" she was interrupted as the boy challenged her to a double battle. Belle had nothing against Exeggcute ( Mimi sort of did ) but he wasn't at full health, which could be a major disadvantage.

She sighed, whispered good luck to her Pokeball, and threw it next to Mimi. The Pokeball sent out Exeggcute, who did not like the sight of the Stantler. "Good luck, I guess." Belle muttered.

Mimi was taken aback by this and whimpered, upset. She let it go, though, and the team waited for the first move.

The two pokemon used leer together before doing anything. The stantler cried out as he leered at them and the lillipup used leer as wall on the pokemon. The two prepared themselves to take some enevitable damage.

Mimi and her ally took a step back, frightened by the move. Belle sort of could understand, as the glares they were giving off could kill. "Exeggcute, use Hypnosis!" Belle ordered, and her newest Pokemon obeyed and tried to use the move on both.

Even if it knew it wasn't going to work. Mimi waited for her command. "Alright Mimi, use Tackle!" Belle called, pointing at the Stantler. Mimi grinned, then took a step back for a running start. She then charged forward at the deer like Pokemon, both she and her teammate hoping to use the moves successfully.

The lillipup and Stantler hadn't expected the move from the exeggcute, and fell right for the hypnosis! The stantler was hit by the tackle due to being unable to move because of being held in a deep slumber. The trainer was outraged by the battle so far, he yelled, trying to get his pokemon to wake up unsuccessfully.

Belle grinned at her sudden stroke of luck. "Take the chance and use Bite!" Belle ordered Mimi, pointing at the Stantler once more. She hoped to take it out first. Then she turned to Exeggcute. "Exeggcute, you use Leech Seed on Lillipup!" the Exeggcute nodded.

Together, the Lillipup and the Exeggcute used their moves, Mimi charging forward with sharp teeth ready, while Exeggcute shot the seed like bullets at the sleeping Puppy Pokemon. Belle hoped she'd stay lucky for a bit longer.

The pokemon, still asleep, were hit with the moves. The Stantler was bitten, but the bite had caused him to wake up. He cried out in pain and attempted to shake the lillipup off like a rodeo horse. The Lillipup was struck by the leechseed. Vines covered it and sapped life from it, and gave it to Exeggcute.

Mimi gasped, which caused her to let go and bound back to Belle. She was lucky to not be hit, and growled. She did not wait for Belle to give her a command and dove straight for the Stantler, attempting to use Tackle while using Leer.

Exeggcute, on the other hand, was now feeling better, to the delight of both his owner and himself. "Good job. Now, use Barrage!" Belle ordered, pointing at the Lillipup. She aimed to defeat each one with one of her Pokemon. Exeggcute nodded, then began to shoot out eggs at the sleeping Pokemon.

The Stantler was hit by the attack, it used the close range to try and use hypnosis on Mimi. It chanted rhythmically and attempted to put the puppy to sleep. Meanwhile, the other puppy pokemon was still asleep. Despite the attacks on it, it managed to stay in the dream world and enjoy some dreams.

Mimi tried to hide behind Belle, but did not make it in time and fell to the ground, eyes peacefully shut and asleep. Mimi made another pit stop at the Dream World. "Mimi!? No!! Wake up!" Belle cried, taking a step forward and wanting to shake her Pokemon awake. She caught herself, sighed, and stepped back.

"Exeggcute, guard Mimi, and use Barrage on both Pokemon!" Belle cried. Exeggcute hopped forward in front of the sleeping ally, then shot eggs in the direction of the opponents.

((Just wondering, do you know the second effect of Uproar? It wakes up pokemon on field! RANDOM FACT THAT I'M GOING TO SHARE EVEN IF YOU KNOW IT OR NOT OF THE DAY! xD))

The stantler was hit by the barrage, it decided to use leer again. The trainer shouted for his lillipup to wake up, still without success.

[ xD Well yes, but then Shorty's (?) Lillipup would wake up too ;w; ]

Belle shouted for Mimi to wake up, but her Pokemon only stirs in her sleep and continues to catch z's. Belle was getting frustrated by this and was tempted to use Uproar, but decided not to or else she'd be helping the opponent.

"Exeggcute, use Hypnosis on Stantler, then Barrage once more!" Belle strayed away from Mimi for a moment and gave her other Pokemon a command. He nodded, sending rays(?) to the deer like Pokemon, getting eggs ready all the while.

The stantler was hit by the hypnosis, it fell into cucumber slumber once more. The trainer was getting furious he shouted once more and his lillipup finally awoke, it dashed toward the sleeping lillipup in an attempt to use tackle and bite.
((Sorry for such short posts...my mind is tired, and i am supposed to be in bed and am going. G'Night! I'll bug rp you more tomorrow if you like.))

"Exeggcute, use Reflect, then Hypnosis!" Belle ordered frantically, trying to make sure her dearest Pokemon wouldn't get hurt. Exeggcute's eyes glowed for a moment, and a "shield" could be seen in a brief second. Then, Exeggcute focused on the Lillipup and sent the sleepy waves toward it once more.

The lillipup was struck by the sleep inducing waves, it collapsed in mid attack onto the ground. Stantler was also still snoozing.

Belle knew Exeggcute couldn't hold off on its own for much longer, and regretfully called, "Exeggcute, Barrage!! Then use Uproar," Belle hoped she was making a good move, and at once, Exeggcute shot eggs at both Pokemon before yelling and screaming to wake the other Pokemon awake.

Mimi jumped at once, and was awake. Her pit stop at the Dream World ended suddenly. She barked, then dusted herself off after falling asleep on the ground. "Alright Mimi, use Tackle, then Bite!" Belle called, and Mimi instinctively charged for the Stantler as Exeggcute continued to scream and chant.

The stantler was damaged by the uproar, he woke with a start to receive a tackle and a critical bite. The stantler quickly struggled onto it's legs and awaited it's trainer's call. The trainer laughed, "Stupid mistake!" He said. Shorty then commanded Stantler to use hypnosis on the two pokemon! The stantler's efforts were in vain though, for the uproar had kept the pokemon awake. The stantler turned and stared at his trainer, "They made a stupid mistake, Eh?" he said in pokemon. The stantler shook his head when his trainer shrugged and turned to face the battle, the hypnosis attack had taken up his turns, he was now useless and vulnerable to any attacks.

The lillipup was jolted awake by the uproar and covered it's ears while screeching in pain. It took a few moments for it to adjust to the sound a bit and be able to move in the loud sound. His trainer ordered him to use bite on the Exeggcute, but the lillipup would have none of the loud pokemon! It instead moved to bite the other lillipup and mix a tackle in with the bite. It rushed toward the other lillipup as fast as it could, attempting to hit it before Mimi even noticed that the foe was coming straight toward her. He grew closer...closer...closer...then...

.. Bam. Mimi flew across the field, taking a strong hit to the move and cried out in pain as the Lillipup bit her ferociously. She decided to counter and use Leer, and shook the Lillipup off. She felt a bit weak now, but still had plenty of energy. In sheer anger, she took a couple steps back and used a new move, Take Down, on the Lillipup. She got a running start, then attempted to ram into the Pokemon successfully, despite knowing she would get hurt as well.

Exeggcute continued to shoot eggs for a bit of time, before it decided to use Reflect just in case. The invisible shield like move took place, and Exeggcute and his ally felt a bit more protected. Belle trusted her Pokemon and watched. Exeggcute and Mimi were ready for anything now.

The Lillipup screeched as it was hit into the air, it crashed to the ground and was unable to get up. The trainer grit his teeth and returned his fainted pokemon. He glared at Mimi and ordered his stantler to use Stomp. The stantler charged toward the lillipup, attempting to stomp all over it for revenge. It had hurt it's comrade, and now it had a thirst for the sweet taste of revenge.

Mimi stumbled to the ground a bit, taking recoil by using Take Down. She grinned at her success, and so did Belle. The grin faded as she saw Stantler charging forward. Her eyes slightly widened and she took a step forward.

"Mimi, get out of the way!!" Belle yelled frantically as she saw the deer like Pokemon's anger. Mimi obeyed and successfully dodged. "Okay.. okay. Good. Now, use Bite!" Belle ordered, and Mimi charged forward, teeth ready.
