Trying for a win then a sandwich

Belle smiled. "Can't afford to let you drown." she sighed, naive to how her words just sounded like. The shadow under the water was both the trainer and his Pokemon, and the employee was prepared for this as it happened multiple times already. He easily dodged Anubis' attack and swiftly swam in the water a bit, just to relax. But his anger increased as he began to get cold. The employee cursed the two, angry at Ed for not drowning, and enraged at Belle for ruining his plan.

So instead, he commanded his Seel to attack the boat again from underneath, almost making it turn over. The Seel kept a close eye on the girl and Ed's Pokemon, then jumped out of the water and attempted to use Headbutt on Anubis. Whether it worked or not, it didn't matter, as it then rammed into Belle and knocked her out of the ship, sending the girl screaming and crashing into the water.


Mimi scampered to Belle's seat and barked ferociously, teeth showing and furious at the employee. The trainer, who had done this to many other competitors, swam after the girl and shoved her deeper into the water, him breathing and the girl unable to. If he couldn't drown the boy, he'd torture the other! Belle struggled against the rapids, no air, the cold water, and the employee, desperate for air.

Meanwhile, the Seel jumped out of the water again and attempted to do the same thing with both Anubis and Ed, suddenly as mad as Mimi. The Lillipup was too concerned in her own trainer to help Ed.

Just as Anubis was getting on the boat he saw the seel coming at them at them again, this time it knocked Belle off. "Belle!" Ed jumped into the water even though he would lose his boat. He reached the employee and tried to get him off of Belle. Anubis saw the seel going for another attack and used Counter, ready to be hit, which he was.

The Seel winced as it was hit and growled at the Riolu, now even more angrier then ever. It let out a battle cry and attempted to ram into Anubis with a stronger Headbutt, confident that it would work. At last minute, whether the Pokemon was hit or not, Mimi dashed forward and furiously used Bite on the Seel, causing it to screech and be left bite marks. Both Pokemon growled at each other, but it was now the Riolu's move, except Mimi had joined in on the fight.

Belle, on the other hand, felt like her lungs were about to burst from the different measures and speeds of water being rushed at her. She had to shut her eyes or else the water would get into them, so she couldn't see Ed or the employee. Seeing as she was now free from the sudden shoving, she swiftly ran up to the surface and gasped for air desperately. When she regain composure, she noticed that it was Ed who saved her and could make out themselves underneath the water. The girl was concerned for her friend, but she did not want to go back to the water.

So instead, she swam over to the boat again, watching as the Pokemon fought with one another and climbed aboard, luckily saving the ship in time and not being noticed. The girl sat up and glared at the Seel, who returned her dirty look. "Sorry to interrupt," she said to the group, "but we need to go back and get Ed!" Mimi nodded and gave the Seel a look that said, 'I'm coming back for you in a bit.' Belle nodded towards Anubis and her own Lillipup, and before the opposing Water type could react, Belle hurriedly took control of the boat and settled it nearby towards where Ed was.

She stood on her knees with Mimi standing on her back legs and her paws against the edge of the boat, standing up straight. The two tried to find the pair in the water. Th employee had seen Ed come and let him shove him out of the way, but instead grabbed Ed and switched roles. He began to shove him deeper into the water, as apparently the pool was, as said, very deep. His eyes seemed to say, 'One of you isn't gonna make it.'

Ed had to think fast Thats it! Ed reached into his bag and pulled out a potion. Not for him or Anubis, but for the employee. Ed sprayed the potion into the employees eyes. These were never meant for a human. Let alone their eyes. Ed kicked free and started swimming up.

The employee screeched, rubbing his eyes and now gasping for air. He did let go of Ed and frantically tried to swim up, bumping into walls and everything. Belle blankly watched, jumping as Ed appeared out of the water. She let out a hand again, not having to say anything and grinning. As he did get up on the boat, Belle decided she probably should say something. "Maybe we should move on to the next trainer." she said weakly, glancing back down at the employee ( who was still underwater, if you'd like to know ).

The Seel, however, had different plans. Still furious that it was left behind, it snuck underwater and underneath the boat, ramming into it angrily and causing it to shake. The boat almost tipped over and Mimi charged into Belle's lap, whimpering. Luckily, because the Lillipup switched sides, the small 'ship' regained balance. Belle sighed, relieved. "Stubborn, are we?" she muttered towards the Seel, who was now visible in the water. It was circling the boat quickly.

"Calling the cops may be a bit better. Wait..." Ed thought for a moment. "The government hasn't made police stations yet..." [Me: FFFFFFFFF...] Ed looked at the seel. "Gosh dang it... Why won't the thing just go away." Anubis tried to use a quick attack on the seel, risking falling into the water if he missed. The quintet of pokemon and trainers(Including seel not including the employee) seemed to be coming up to an area with a ton of visitors from other areas. A bridge was ahead too. Oh just great... Being embarrassed in front of a crowd caused we're all soaked and the seel sort of looks like it's our pokemon gone loose since it's trainer fell off, this was not on my agenda. nor was near death... 2 times...

The Seel easily dodged Anubis' move because of refraction, and attempted to use Headbutt again on the Riolu. Belle was about to send in Mimi to help, but she blinked as suddenly a couple of lights flashed. She turned, and her face fell when she saw the crowd of people and Pokémon whispering excitedly. Did they seriously just take pictures? the girl grimaced. She blinked again as someone took another picture. One part of her wanted to tell them to get lost, but that wouldn't help anything.

She looked at Ed with frown that said, 'Maybe we should just go'. Belle didn't say so because after all, she had made a promise.. sort of, at least. Being on TV for drowning someone wasn't how she planned this to go, though. Belle gave Ed another frown, and after making sure he was on board safely, she let her instincts take over and splashed water at the crowd, shouting at them to leave she hurriedly rowed the small 'ship' away. "Let's just pretend that never happened, 'kay?"

"The day or the crowd?" Ed asked. He almost forgot about the seel. "Gosh dang it! Why are you still fighting us when you should be saving your trainer?!" Ed yelled at it. Maybe it forgot about being able to save the trainer. However if he saves the trainer, then we'll be his enemy number 1. "Maybe we should just go. No point in trying for the badge now, unless they're like,'We're sorry our employee tried to drown you but you fought well to survive so here's the badge.' That's about as likely as my great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-grandfather Evan going to the surface by breaking someone's arm." Ed thought that Belle would have no idea what he's talking about. "I'll tell you later."

"Both, preferably." Belle answered, slowing the boat down gently, tuning out all the
great-greats' until the last part. "No no, I understand, but.. Your grandfather broke someone's arm by accident?" she said in disbelief. Mimi began to bark at all the attention the group was getting.

The Lillipup was annoyed by all the flashing lights and the brief loss of sight they gave her. Belle ruffled Mimi's coat gently, settling her down. "Well, we can fight off this Seel and probably kill it, move on, or get outta here." She mostly wanted to leave, but Ed had to win this badge.

"No, we should just go." Ed said against the liking of his riolu. Then it remembered how hurt it was. "So we should get off." He said noticing a dock nearby. He got ready to jump across when the seel knocked the boat closer allowing to just dock. Ed wasn't sure if that was an accident. Maybe the seel just wanted them gone. (Glados: And nowI only want you gone...) Ed docked it and tied it up. "After you Belle."

"But what about your badge?" she asked, a puzzled look on her face. Mimi began to growl at all the people in the crowd, but Belle didn't have enough motivation to stop her. This was seriously not how she planned this going.

"Are you sure we should just leave? I mean.. you're going to have to come back here sooner or later." she frowned, picking up her Lillipup. The small dog like Pokemon barked, happy with this kind of attention rather then the ones from the strangers.

"Yeah I'll leave. Then the two psycho employees won't be here. Most likely in jail... They can't argue with tourist photos." He said looking at the crowd. "Plus, I'm pretty sure our pokemon are tired as well, at least Anubis is, Not even sure gulpin can swim. Won't take that chance now..."
