Dear God, Don't Let There Be a Wave of Zubats!!!!

Rave entered the cave with curiosity burning inside. He had never been in a cave before. The cave was well lit with light from the entrance and he could see many entrances to other caves from where he stood. He turned to Claire, "Where to?" he asked. Claire had just recently recruited him to a team called Twilight, according to her the team was about helping pokemon who are abused by trainers be rescued from them. He liked the idea, so he went with her. She had wanted to come to the caves for some odd reason, so he followed, thinking it was important.

After landing on the ground the pair were on the Rp world againThe cave was a bit dark and, for some reason, damp, and wild Pokemon could be heard in the distance. The light of the entrance didn't go very far, and the pair's shadows casted down onto the ground. Claire shivered a bit. She never liked the darkness, despite her being on TT. It never lasted long, though. "Just follow me and don't stray too far behind. We could get seperated," she explained, beginning to walk.

She stopped and paused, pulling out a regular Pokeball. This was her own Pokemon, and Claire threw the ball on the ground. A Pikachu ( you should have saw it coming ) appeared as the flash wore off. Claire smiled and gently ruffled its head, causing the Pikachu to smile and make a cute sound. "This is Storm," Claire explained, grinning at Rave. Claire and Storm smiled at each other. "I got Storm when I was a little girl." Claire said, her voice a bit dreamy as she remembered. Then she snapped out of it.

Claire took a step back and motioned for Rave to do so as well. "Close your eyes." Claire said quickly, then shut her own. "Storm, use Flash." As soon as her words were spoken, the Pikachu obeyed immediately and crouched down low, Storm's ears and tail twitching and cheeks sparking. In a few moments, after a battle cry, there was light in the cave and Claire slowly opened her eyes.

"It's safe to come out now," she joked, grinning. Then she picked Storm up and set him in her arms, starting to walk. "Follow me."

Rave had closed his eyes when ordered and reopened them, he admired the strange rock formations a bit before following Claire. He blinked, his eyes adjusting to the light and looked up to the the tunnel's roof was shrinking a bit and then gradually becoming higher. He wondered what caused it to be like this, he was caught by surprise when the tunnel suddenly sloped downward and he slide down a bit before catching himself. He turned to Claire and said, "How far do we have to go? And why are we here in the first place?" he asked.

Claire kept walking, sure of herself and hardly tripping. "Not very far," she said, looking around at the cave. It never got boring and was always different, but TT had figured out a road in the cave that always leads to the same place. She pretended to not hear his last question. "It shouldn't take long if we don't have any-"


A wild Poochyena appeared!

"-interruptions." Claire sighed as the Poochyena growled. She glanced at Rave. "I plan to capture it and show you how we work.. or do you want to train?" Storm looked up at Rave as well with curious eyes.

"TO HELL WITH YOU LADY THIS THING IS MINE!" Rave screamed Rave shook his head, he liked this pokemon's attitude. He also heard the mightyenas, poocheyna's evolution, were loyal and strong. He sent out rufflet to attack the pokemon. Rufflet leered and attacked with a fury attack, knowing that his owner wanted the pokemon he held back a bit. Rufflet was a bit jealous though, he wasn't going to be the center of Rave's attention anymore.

[ THAT MADE MY DAY. ]

Claire sighed, she also wanted the Poochyena for herself, but decided to be nice and let Rave capture it. He seemed to like it more then she did. The Poochyena crouched down low and took a step back. It then suddenly charged forward, attempting to use Tackle.

Rave began to throw every pokeball he had at the pokemon Rave ordered his rufflet to dodge the attack, the rufflet dodged. Rufflet combined peck with leer to make a strong fury attack. He launched his beak and claws at the poocheyna, trying to hit it multiple times. The rufflet was being fueled by rage again, he was jealous even though he knew is master would still give him attention. The rufflet screeched as his attack began.

None of them worked and just hit it on the head, giving it a poker face The Poochyena could practically sense Rufflet's anger and jealousy, and it smirked as it realized the boy wanted to capture it. It growled again, wanting to upset the Rufflet once more, but was caught off guard as the Rufflet attacked it. It stumbled backwards after a few injuries and howled. ( Not the move |D ) Then it tried to use Sand Attack on it, almost getting it on Rave, Claire, and Storm.

Rufflet was hit with the attack, but it's Keen Eye ability kept accuracy from being lost. Rufflet combined it's peck and fury attack ability once more, trying to damage the poocheyena even more. Rave held an empty pokeball in his fingers, getting ready to throw it if he saw a good opportunity.

The Poochyena was so surprised that the move didn't work, it was hit yet again and was now growing frustrated. "Pooch! Poochyena!!" It growled once more, sharp teeth showing fully this time. It used Howl, raising its Attack, before charging towards the Rufflet again, attempting to use Tackle once more.

The rufflet was hit by the attack, he used leer followed by a peck attack. After Rufflet had finished, Rave tossed his pokeball at the small dog. The ball whistled toward it and hit it's mark, rufflet's feathers puffed up in jealousy. The trainer watched the pokeball, his eyes seeming to glare dagger at it.

"Nice job," Claire smiled, ruffling Storm's head. "Ready to keep going?"

He returned his rufflet and let out Runa, the Poochyena. He nodded, "Yeah." the poochyena leaped into his arms and climbed onto his head. It wasn't attached to the trainer like the rufflet was, but she liked the view from the top of Rave's head. Runa yawned in boredom and yipped for her transport to get moving.

"Good," Claire says, glancing back at Rave and his new Pokemon, "we better hurry or else we'll get other interrumph!!" Claire bumped into someone and fumbled back, almost tripping over herself. "What the-?!" Claire frowned and regained balance. The person she bumped into turned around smiled. "I apologize. I didn't see you coming." The girl, a late teen, fixed her glasses as she saw Rave and his Pokemon.

Claire remained silent as she studied the Scientist. The girl stepped closer to Rave, examining Runa carefully. "How cute. I have never seen a Poochyena in all of my studies, and we need one for our project. That is why I am here." The girl adjusted her coat and stepped back, suddenly clutching a Pokeball. "I haven't been able to capture one yet. My name is Rebecca, and I would like to propose a battle. If I win, you must give me your Poochyena. If I lose, I will leave. Please accept my challenge."


Scientist Rebecca would like to battle!

Runa growled at the trainer and tried to take a swipe at the scientist from afar. Rave backed up before Runa could hit the scientist and picked he up off of his head and set her on the floor. Runa barked at the scientist, eager to fight. Rave shrugged, "She wants to fight, so i guess so." Runa glared at Rebecca and snarled with hatred.

Claire looked absolutely bored while Rebecca grinned. Rebecca had two Pokeballs, so this would last longer. Her first Pokemon was a Roselia, and it smiled as the flash died down. "Rosi~" It said happily. The Thorn Pokemon patiently waited for the first move. "I can assure that you will need to say your goodbyes." Rebecca tossed her hair.

Claire groaned. "NOBODY CARES JUST HURRY UP ALREADY!" She screamed "Hurry up, will you? We've got places to be." Claire was not fond of Rebecca for some reason, and tapped her foot. "Chuuu." Neither did Storm. Rebecca and Roselia pretended not to hear them.

Rave sent out Rufflet to battle the Roselia, Runa looked at him in disbelief, "I never sent you out to fight. You just watch from next to me." he ordered. Rufflet was still a bit jealous and immediately began with a newly learned Wing Attack mixed with a Leer. He spread his wing out and rushed toward the rose pokemon.

Rebecca seemed unfazed by this move and calmly ordered her Pokemon to dodge. The Roselia gracefully twirled around, dodging the Rufflet's move while looking formal. "Good job. Now, use Poison Sting!" Rebecca ordered. The Roselia obeyed, and shot out small needles(?) from the roses attached to it, attempting to hit Rufflet successfully.

Rufflet was hit by the stings, but luckily wasn't poisoned. He moved in for another Wing Attack. He flew to the ceiling and leaped off of it, letting gravity take control and drag him to the earth and towards the rose pokemon. He grew closer and closer, his hopes becoming higher in defeating his opponent as he moved to enforce his attack with a leer.

Rebecca was quite smart and quick to speak, and she could read the moves easily. "Roselia, look away!" Her Pokemon had a frightened look on its face but managed to look away and dodge in time. "Good, now use Stun Spore!" Rebecca ordered, and the Thorn Pokemon shot out spores from its roses towards the Rufflet, hoping it would work.

Rufflet flew furiously away from the spores, he went around them and moved for another wing attack combined with Leer. Rave, meanwhile, was a bit annoyed that the Roselia had dodges all of his attacks. Rufflet was too, he grew more serious and went all out. His wing extended as far as it could go as he raced toward the roselia, leering at it and just waiting for the perfect moment to hit it. He screeched and lashed his wing out, trying to hit the grass type pokemon.

Rebecca frowned as she saw Rave's Rufflet dodge and considered which move to use. "Hurry UP." Claire called, getting more and more impatient by the second. Rebecca continued to ignore her and called to her Pokemon, "Roselia, look away!"

Unfortunately, the Thorn Pokemon was unable to look away in time, and was hit. "It's okay," Rebecca called, "just get up and use Poison Sting!" The Roselia had tumbled backwards, and was now getting up and aiming for the Rufflet. It shot out needles once more, still upset over what just happened.

The poison thorns hit Rufflet, he plucked the thorn from his wing in time to not be poisoned once more. He glared at the Roselia and waited for a command, "Wing Attack once more, except throw a peck in there." Rave ordered. Rufflet nodded in acknowledgement and raced toward the Roselia, he was now on the ground to save energy. He cried out to pump himself up as his beak grew longer and he spread his wings out. He raced towards the flower pokemon in hopes of defeating it as soon as possible.

Rebecca looked as if Rave was joking. "You are making it easy. Don't you want to keep that Poochyena of yours?" Roselia and her owner smirked. Claire looked as if she were about to explode from being bored and all the taunts Rebecca was giving. Rebecca pushed her glasses up and had a stern look as Rufflet charged towards them. "Get hit," she whispered to her Pokemon, "then counter with Absorb." Roselia nodded.

The Pokemon was hit, then immediately tried to use Absorb.

Rufflet screeched as it's health was sucked from him. He grew enraged and ignored Rave's command to used a combination of fury attack and peck, and instead used Leer and Wing Attack.

Rave was surprised by his rufflet's sudden disobedience. He watched as Rufflet dashed toward the roselia with his wing extended and leering at it. "What the?" he muttered in surprise.
