Feronia is Evolving!

Okay guys, the staff team has been working together to share our ideas about how Feronia should be changed for the better. We've been around for a while and we have a grasp on what needs to be changed, added, and fixed.

To start off these changes, we're working on a brand new encounter system. Each area will have its own die that you can roll for an encounter, be it an item or Pokemon. That means we're greatly dropping the use of mods, as I'm sure many of you might be happy to hear. Modded threads will still be needed occasionally, for things such as gym battles, missions, and obtaining starter Pokemon, but for the most part we're giving you more freedom!

Also, we are working on a new experience, mono-roleplay, and leveling system, among other things. We haven't agreed on anything since posting time, but implementing these features once decided on will result on a pruning of the site.

Now, this does not mean you will have to delete your characters or start from scratch. Although all threads will be archived, characters will not be touched and will be able to start right where they left off before the pruning. There is a possibility that you need to update your characters' records a bit, but they will still have all their Pokemon and items.

As stated before, the staff team is still working on new mechanics for certain things, but we would probably be best off with public feedback. So, how do you want Feronia to work? What do you think we need to add, change, or take out? I know a few of you have already given some feedback, but we'd like to hear from the community as a whole. So please, post any suggestions you have here or in a separate thread, and we'll try to get back to you as soon as possible.
