The Dragon and the Moon

Reina looked about then sighed, and shouldered her backpack, and walked down the street, heading to the Lab. She had finally worked up enough courage to ask where it was, and she needed a new partner, since her old one was gone.... She looked up at the shining building, and then moving the sliding door, she entered the structure, and breathed in the air of the Lab, it was cool, and different than the outside air of the town.

The Noise was muted, and her wrist-watch, something she had bought, depleting her Poke' reserves down to a minimal amount, ticked in the silence. "H-Hello? Is somebody i-in here? I-I'm a trainer and I've come looking for a pokemon." Her voice petered out, it sounding laughably weak in the cold steel walls of the lab.

"Want a carvanah?" a voice called from the very back. There was a slow squeaking sound as a man in a wheelie chair ever so slowly rolled towards her. There was an entire five minutes of silence as he slowly rolled over to her, not speeding himself up. He stopped right in front of the trainer, he studied her a bit before saying, "Follow me." he then propelled himself back across the room while spinning to a clipboard, "Name? And you said you wanted a Carvanah right?"
"Okay, that's just getting annoying now!" an assistant walked in from behind the trainer, "I swear, you're just desperate to give that wretched thing a trainer!"
"But it's cute."
"That is not cute!" the assistant yelled, "Just like that lunatone! The stupid thing fell asleep while levitating, right onto my foot too! Why do we always get the bad ones?"
"They're not bad, just in need of some love and junk like that that i'm supposed to say."

Reina took a step back as the man squeaked towards her, then she timidly followed him, not raising her voice. "I-I'm Reina Sir....." She flinched when the assistant came in and yelled a bit. "S-Sir, I didn't ask for a Carvanah B-But..... A Lunatone?" She perked up at that, and a bit of volume came back to her timid voice, her hair swishing behind her as she walked to the assistant. "Did you say a Lunatone? S-Sir..." She lowers her eyes at the last part.

"Yeah, poor thing was tired to the bone, or rock should i say? Ah well." the professor shrugged, "you want it?" he tossed a pokeball that was on the shelf into the air and a lunatone floated out of it, "Luuunaatooone." it spoke.
"How do you always have the pokemon that trainers want already out before they get here?"
"Because i'm PSYCHIC!"
"No you are not..."
"Then how do I know about those magazines your hiding in the locked cupboard behind the fridge?"
"What Magazines!?"
"Exactly."
The assistant sighed and handed the girl a clipboard, "Sign here please..."

"O-Okay....." She watched the exchange, and a small hint of a smile worked onto her face, and she took the pen, and putting it to the paper, quickly signed, 'Reina Xev Pendragon -RxP' 'Tooonnneee' The Lunatone floated over to Reina, and nuzzled up next to her, its eyes glittering happily. She took the Poke'ball, and looking at the Lunatone, she murmured, "I'll name you.... Lunats! Cause you're musical, and a Luna!" She raised her voice suddenly, seeming excited, then blushing she hugged the Rocky Pokemon, and it let off a Tuneful, and Joyful sounding, 'Lunaaaaa!!'

"Anyways, here's your pokeballs, and your pokedex, now off with you. I need to talk to pervy sage over her about those magazines." The professor said.
"I have no idea what you're talking about!"
"Also about that girl you've been hanging out with lately."
"NO SUCH THING!"
"I told you, i'm psychic. I know everything. Plus i have security cameras all around the lab."
"Hah! SO you're not psychic!"
"But i still know about those magazines."
